Restaurant Reviews - Boisdale of Belgravia

"A very refreshing and relaxing restaurant. From the moment we stepped through the doors we were greeted by friendly helpful staff who were not false/pushy/overpowering but completely genuine and down to earth no pretentiousness, they made our party feel relaxed and comfortable and very welcome.

We were directed to the bar where we were quickly served then escorted to our table. Our order was taken quickly but we were not rushed. The wine list was extensive and very good, the Beaujolais we picked was impeccable and so smooth.

Food was delicious, our group tried the Angus Rib Eye Steaks which were succulent and tender and the Roast Salmon which was superb. The apple crumble melted in the mouth. The Cuban cigars were sweet and the whisky divine.

The whole reason for going to Boisdale however was for the jazz which didn't disappoint. The lady sang the blues and sounded very much like Ella Fitzgerald, and the band played several all time favourites and took requests for £5 donated to Children in Need. Overall one of the best evenings of the year, whether you go for the jazz or the food you will not be dissappointed."
