Restaurant Reviews - Chelsea Kitchen

"The Chelsea Kitchen is an oasis on The King's Road. I have been using it regularly since 1980, when I lived across the road in Royal Avenue. As a student I found the prices so reasonable that I could eat there most evenings, and watch the world go by. I am still amazed how little it has changed in all these years, and some of the staff are still there too. It just goes to show that good straightforward fare will always have a place in the heart of Kings Road life, and it is heartening that they haven't felt tempted to charge pompous prices. I shall continue to champion their cause."

"I live in Chelsea down the road from the Chelsea Kitchen and I have found it has taken the place of my stove and oven. The food is very reasonably priced and the service is quick. For the same price as a homecooked meal you can eat there and experience some of Kings Road's history."

"While this might not have been the best meal we had in London, it was certainly the best value in terms of quality, selection, quantity, and price! Soups were delicious."

"Wonderful Apple tarts with custard, superb curries. Try the seating accomodation downstairs. Quaint banquets with a cavern effect. Quite affordable, simple but highly recommended.
