The Traditional English Restaurants of London

"Unless you're looking for plush decor or fancy the hustle and bustle of a large trendy restaurant, you would find it hard to better Ffiona's in the London area. Seven of us "mature" adults celebrated a family get together there and I can honestly say we all enjoyed the fabulous, varied dishes cooked to perfection. Personally I had to test the menu boast of the "best Chicken Kiev in the world". It was definitely the best I have ever sampled, although I would otherwise have liked to have tried my brother's Steak and Kidney Pie which seemed to be more steak than pie. I think it would be hard to go wrong with the menu choices, but what pleased me the most was the way that, even though late arrivals in our party caused an hour's delay, at no time did we feel pressurized to rush the meal to make way for more diners, although Ffiona had to turn away many would be customers. In fact we spent the whole evening there with Ffiona and her staff constantly attending to our needs and joining in with our fun while doing so in a friendly, discreet manner.
