Review Guidelines

The Traditional English Restaurant Guide of London wants your comments to be heard!

Please be advised there is a 200 word maximum on reviews. The recommended length is around 150 words.

What to include:

Your comments should focus on the food, service and style of the restaurant. The best reviews include not only whether you liked or disliked the place, but also why. Feel free to mention other restaurants you consider similar, and how this one rates in comparison to them. Comments that are not specific to the restaurant will not be posted on our site.

What not to include:

Resist the temptation to comment on other reviews visible on the page. This information (and its position on the page) is subject to change without notice. You can comment elsewhere about the Guide itself.

If you'd like to tell us about a specific problem with a restaurant, please send me an e-mail by filling out this form

We are proud to provide this forum for you to air your opinions on your favourite (or not-so-favourite) restaurants. While we appreciate your time and comments, we respectfully request that you refrain from including the following in your review:

  • Profanity, obscenities or spiteful remarks;
  • Time-sensitive material;
  • Single-word reviews - we want to know why you liked or dislike the place. Please try to describe the whole meal, including drinks;
  • Comments focusing solely on the chef;
  • Defamatory comments about anyone else;
  • Reviews, which are not your own original work;
  • Content which might be considered blasphemous.

Any review in violation of these guidelines will not be posted.
